The bottom line - if you can and want to breastfeed, you definitely should. And, if someone in your family has had breast cancer, it’s even more important. Experts say if your family member had a particularly fast-moving or difficult-to-treat form of breast cancer, or she was diagnosed under 40-years-old, there's an even greater reason to breastfeed.
